1978-1988 GM G-Body (Grand National, Monte Carlo, Malibu, Cutlass, Grand Prix)

This fuel cell is custom-molded from high quality Cross-Link Polypropylene HPDE and is specifically designed to fit the spare tire well of the GM G-Body. The cell holds 6.2 gallons and weighs less than 8 lbs.

This model is configured for use with an internal (stock-style) fuel pump and includes the Metco billet adapter (MFC3000) that allows the use of the stock GM fuel pump hanger with a fuel cell.

This model is ideal for use as part of an auxiliary fuel system for use with high-octane fuel, or simply as a replacement for the heavy stock fuel tank in race applications. Any fuel pump that is compatible with the stock GM pump hanger will work with this fuel cell, including double-pumper set-ups.

The cell is molded with recesses for the included includes stainless steel hold-down straps and the kit includes an aircraft-grade fuel cap.

Note: The GM fuel pump hanger shown is not included with this kit, but is available separately under Metco Motorsports PN MMU2509, which fits the 1986-1987 Buick Grand National.

This model is ideal for use as a remote reservoir for alcohol injection or liquid intercooler coolant, or as a replacement for the heavy stock fuel tank in race applications.

The cell is molded with recesses for the included includes stainless steel hold-down straps and the kit includes an aircraft-grade fuel cap.

Note: Modifications required to fuel cell outlet when used with methanol or alcohol.
